The D35 Sadová–Plotiště project involves building a new motorway section to replace the two-lane I/35 road between Sadová and Hradec Králové, which no longer has sufficient capacity.

Project Overview
The new motorway section has taken traffic, including a high proportion of heavy goods vehicles, off the congested E442 international road and diverted it away from built-up areas. The four-lane road increases capacity and safety, improves traffic flow on one of the busiest stretches between Jičín and Hradec Králové, and reduces noise and emissions for residents of nearby communities.
