D11 Trutnov - státní hranice ČR/PL

Project Overview

The D11 motorway will provide a high-quality cross-border connection to Poland while taking over much of the traffic from the existing, heavily congested I/37 road. This road currently connects the regional centres of Jaroměř, Dvůr Králové nad Labem and Trutnov. Along this section, it is built to road categories S 11.5 and S 9.5. The D11 links centres of wider regional importance: Prague, Hradec Králové and Poland. The new motorway will significantly improve access to border regions, shorten journey times between the two countries and divert through traffic away from a number of communities around Trutnov.
